Empowering Smallholder Farmers
Through Local Partnerships

Smallholder farmers play a vital role in ensuring food security and driving economic development in many developing regions. According to IFAD and UNEP, smallholders manage over 80% of the world’s 500 million small farms and provide more than 80% of the food consumed in much of the developing world. Their contribution is central to poverty reduction, community resilience, and sustainable food systems.

At Ewéko, we act as a bridge between developmental agencies, governments, NGOs, and these smallholder communities—leveraging deep local insights, grassroots presence, and trusted networks. We facilitate strategic partnerships that deliver impact where it matters most.

By increasing the productivity of smallholder farmers and other value chain actors through inclusive business models, we unlock ripple effects that drive economic growth, improve livelihoods, and strengthen food systems across entire communities.
